Hi guys,
I have a problem with customizing the theme in WordPress. When I click on appearance -> customize and try to edit anything and save it, the changes are not made. I did hard refreshes and checked in different browsers but things just do not change.
Only thing that I can do is upload a logo or edit text. the rest just doesn't change so please help!
I added an image so you can see the changes made do not affect the site itself.
9 years ago #5993Hi, jevdo
Thanks for contacting us.
Please go to Appearance > Theme Options > Logo & Favicon > to change the logo on your website. And Theme Options > Styling Options > to change the color.
You should check them again, then feedback to us soon.

9 years ago #5998Hi guys,
Thanks for your response. The logo is NOT the problem there are parts I just cannot change. And for the styling options I tried that already and no success...
I added Images to show that I changed colours and options within the styling options but the end result is still unchanged.
I installed this theme with the latest version of wordpress and installed everything all over again but no success.
Hope you guys can help me out!
9 years ago #6001Hi again,
Thanks for getting back to us.
After changing the color you need to click Save & Generate CSS button to change.
Check it again, then give us your website's URL and admin account privately via checking Set as private reply checkbox. We will help you to check.

9 years ago #6002Hi Tracy,
Thanks for your swift response. The button save & generate css does not work. I've added an image to illustrate the error box.
I'll see if I can get some credentials if necessary.
9 years ago #6004Hi again,
it seems that this is the issue of PHP configuration. You can read this blog:
https://yolotheme.com/knowledge-base/recommended-php-configuration-limits/
Please check again, then give us your website's URL and admin account if you still cannot fix.
Best Regards,

We have got access to your website then checked your PHP configuration and PHP limits.
You are using PHP configuration too small. Please see this image: http://imgur.com/s86VVGC.png
As we told above, please increase PHP limit as our guide.
You can contact hosting provider learn more about this.
Please check, then feedback to us.

After updating the php version and php limits Ive tried changing the theme but after a while it just stopped working.
When I press save & generate css in theme options I get an error message. So changing the theme has become impossible once again.
I tried starting from scratch again and it worked, but only for a limited time after the error came back again.
Ive started from scratch 3 times now.. please help me out

Can you give us your FTP account? We need to debug on your site to fix this issue.

8 years, 11 months ago #6378Hi Jackie,
Sorry for the delay, we solved our ftp issues and have free space again.
I tested my wordpress site again, and still no way to save and generate css.
Could you please do some debugging asap?
Thanks!
