No matter what i try ... The Header section does change the layout.
I have tried every possible permutaion and combination of customisation ... but the header just remains white.
All we want to do is use this layout for the menus ...

Can you please help us figure out what the issue is. Currently this has been a show stopper for us ... Since the client is fixated on this variation.
Thanks in Advance.
8 years, 10 months ago #7190@preetish - I had this same problem. I assume you want to make the header background transparent? To do this, (if you have not already tried) clear the selection as in, do not select a light or dark option. Leave it blank.
8 years, 10 months ago #7192Thanks for the reply @gumbeaux ... While having a transparent header is one of the goals ... I quite like the oblique bar that highlights a menu item ...
The header can be made transparent by turning on the float option too.
I'm not really sure if I follow what you meant by clear the selction ... What exactly are you referring to ? A screenshot would help.
8 years, 10 months ago #7194@preetich - I must apologize. I was thinking about a different theme. It's interesting you ask this question here because I am using the same header and fought, and fought to figure out how to get it to replicate that header and could not figure it either.
8 years, 10 months ago #7195Exactly... Choosing a theme that gets as close to your end product is supposed to save you time and effort on the development front.
Running into a problem like this sort of defeats that purpose and you end up having to tinker with code.
I'm hoping to receive a solution from the Yolo team to resolve this at the earliest. I've spent most of my day trying to sort this out and it's like 4am now..

8 years, 10 months ago #7263I guess is the same for me, the transparent header with oblique bar on hover or highlight is just not working, I've made it transparent but it has no action on hover at all

Thank you, I have shared the details ...
It would be nice if you let us know here how the problem is solved. Since all we did try multiple installations .. and all we did is practically install the theme on a fresh wordpress installation and import the demo.
8 years, 10 months ago #7269yes that's what I did but the demo importer stucks somewhere, and it continue displaying the circular thing and do not complete the process. Tried many times on fresh install, following the documentation. It just doesn't finish, last time I left the laptop working for almost 12 hours and it didn't complete it.
So I've got pages, some demo files, but some pictures are missing, and something not working.I'm working on a xampp server (local) ad I've just started to work on it8 years, 10 months ago #7278This reply has been marked as private.8 years, 10 months ago #7279Hi, Danilocdf.
With import demo content issue, you should read an article and make your PHP server fit with this config. https://yolotheme.com/knowledge-base/recommended-php-configuration-limits/
Because when you import demo content, it needs more execution time, PHP time limit... to get content from another server. That is why you need to increase your PHP server setting.

Jackie,
Turning the header float on to achieve this is something that I had figured and mentioned on my earlier post.
What we want is ...the menu to also appear the way it is displayed on the selection ... with the oblique hover highlight. How do i get to doing it.
The changes you have made have to real appeal. The menu feels static and is not what we want.
I just want it the way it appears on the preview.http://prntscr.com/eaxq93
8 years, 9 months ago #7315Hi Preetish.
We have added some custom CSS to your site to make header highlight as you want.
Please check it and let us know again.

8 years, 9 months ago #7325Is there a fix for changing the header version then? It was working fine until the last theme upgrade and now it just won't change the header style at all (it defaults to header 1 on the front end even though header 2 is selected in admin).
If not, is there a way to roll back the theme to a previous version to get it working again?
