It is very inconvenient to have to manually close the mobile menu after clicking each of the options. I would like it to close automatically after pressing any option.
Can you tell me how to get that?

We have checked our demo on the mobile, the off-canvas menu will auto close when you click to another position or menu item. Please check it and let me know your issue again.

If in the menu I add a custom link to another section of the same page the menu does not close

Can you change the mobile menu to the fly menu style? Maybe it can help you fix that issue.
Please go to theme options/ header/ mobile header/ and select Fly menu for Menu Drop Type option.

It's not exactly what I want, but I'm trying something else and it doesn't work for me. I have selected from the page options on the 'privacy policy' page that loads another menu, both on mobile and on page, but it only loads it on mobile
