Hi,
I'm using two Yolo Product Sliders on my shop's homepage. When I set one of them to show products ordered by popularity, I get no results ("No item found" message is displayed on the homepage instead of the items slider).
I wonder, where the popularity data are taken from? How to make the slider to show something (even though the shop is in development stage and the popularity data might not make sense so far)?

Can you describe what do you need to check or what needs to be changed to fix the error?

You go to the product-slider.php file (wp-content/plugins/yolo-sofani-framework/includes/shortcodes/product/) and add these lines to the location as the attached link:
case 'popularity':
$args['meta_key'] = 'total_sales';
break;
7 years, 6 months ago #16178I'm sorry for late reply as I was busy with other tasks.
Thank's for the hints.
I added the code and now I have two product sliders, one ordered by date and one by popularity. Both the sliders work but so far they show exactly the same items with the same order, so I'm not able to confirm if this is ok (the shop is still in development so the sales data doesn't make sense now). I'm going to launch the shop soon so I will observe the sliders.
The big question is, if the code change I made will bee kept after the theme update?
7 years, 6 months ago #16186Hi,
You need to back up this file because this customize will lose when you update new version.
7 years, 6 months ago #16187Ok, got it.
I just thought that this is a bug that you are going to fix on next release.
Thanks anyway for the support.
7 years, 6 months ago #16194Yes, we will update this issue in the next version.
Thanks.
