Hi,
This theme is really good and making good progress in creating a new site but im having issues with the product images being different sizes and not scaling down to fit the size i've inputted and even after reg. images. When I hard crop it does just that and cuts off product details so this solution doesnt work for me.
How can I have all images being the same size (scaled to fit) and not being cropped - at the moment the products look messy with various heights. It will be hard for me to make all images created from source as im getting images from different suppliers.
Hope this makes sense

Are you sure that your product images are uploaded to the same size and ratio?
You can view the below image to clarify: http://prntscr.com/hd4sik
Thanks.
8 years ago #13276hi there!
I'm just seeing really if theres a way that the theme can scale the images down to a size i can specify? Can this be done or do i have to create all images the same size? As i've said we're getting supplied pohtography and would come in various sizes etc.
Thanks
Phil8 years ago #13320Hi,
Sorry for the delay response.
Under the Product Images section, you will find the Catalog Images, Single Product Images, and Product Thumbnails dimensions which is calculated as Width X Height in pixels
* Catalog Image is for your images on the shop page and for shortcodes. Single Product Image is for your images on the single product pages. Product Thumbnail is for your smaller product thumbnails for widgets.
** The images you upload to products will be resized to match the values you have input here. If your settings are 100×100 and you upload a 300×600 image it will be resized to 100×200. You can also choose to "hard crop" your images which will force them to be the size specified in these settings, regardless of the raw image you upload, but your image will the loss of the image content.
You should put pictures of the same size, you can use the "photoshop" software to solve this problem.
This will help your product display more balanced and beautiful.
Thanks.
8 years ago #13331Ok, thanks for the last email and advice. We shall have to resize our current products to all be the same size and work to this size going forward - was hoping there might of been another way, not to worry. Thanks!
