Products filtering and paging

Hi

so i have this product page with filtering and pagination features. Whenever i choose a category it gets filtered for products which are already displayed on that particular page but doesn’t fetch from next or previous pages, so if there is one product under the chosen category in that page, it will only show that one without including others in next and previous pages, i don’t know if this is an error or a bug, I’m hoping to hear from you soon regarding.
Hope you understand what i mean. My Client is really not happy with this so please tell me you have a solution for this. i have tried changing to infinite scolling and load more button like it is now but doesn't do much in terms of UX.
