Sorry, I have solved the problems mentioned in my last message. I had not activated the links to the cart and checkout pages in the Woocommerce Settings. Now everything works fine.
Please, kindly give me an answer about Footer4 problem. TIA
8 years, 1 month ago #13315Hi,
Sorry for the late response.
I tried to translate "Footer Block" with the plugin WPML and it seems not work.
Reason: When I use the plugin "WPML" to translate with a new language, it seems that WPML created a new post and a new ID, but Theme Options only one option (http://prntscr.com/hfosc3) -> Only 1 display language.
- I have submitted a ticket to WPML for this issue. Hopefully, I will get their feedback soon.
- However, if not the solution yet, I will help you create a new footer that uses widget instead of Footer Block in case of your agreement.
(This thursday is the best time).
Best regards,
8 years, 1 month ago #13324Hello,
the sentences that you quoted do not describe my current problem.
Please have a look to https://yolotheme.com/forums/topic/sofani-and-wpml-where-are-the-instructions/#post-13213
That describes the reason I need your support.
I have created succesfully an English version of Footer4. The problem lays in the visualization phase. When I switch to the English version of the website I still visualize the Italian version of the Footer.
Could you please have a look to my admin area in order to solve the problem ? TIA
8 years, 1 month ago #13349Hi,
The reason I said above to explain why the footer only displays a unique language.
When you create Footer 4, WPML will duplicate to 2 versions:
- Footer 4 - English version
- Footer 4 - Italia Version
And to display the footer on the frontend, you must go to Them Options and select Footer, but just choosing only ONE of two versions.
=> Consequently, It only displays a language.
I try to contact the WPML via facebook, but they support via forum instead of facebook.
If you have bought their plugin -> you will have an account -> you can login forum and create a topic with the following content:
I have created a post type "Footer Block" to help users build them selves diferent footer styles on each page (Addon for Visaul Composer).
There is an option "Page footer" in each page and users can select one of theme that is built from Footer Block.
When I use the plugin "WPML" to translate with a new language, It seems that WPML created a new post and a new ID.
Being back with my option "Page footer", it allows users select a unique footer (a unique ID) => It's impossible to translate when redirecting the link to a new language. (http://prntscr.com/hgmuiv)
-> It only displays a language.
- Which is your solution for this issue?
If not the solution yet, I will help you create a new footer that uses widget instead of Footer Block like previous posts.
Best regards.
