Hi. I've been trying to configure my shop, but I'm stuck at the very beginning. I really need to figure these things out, since I didn't find any info in documentation.
1. Is it possible to create new pages with needed layout?
I have 2 templates available in Pages > Add New > page attributes section and they are: default template and slider revolution template. But I'd love to chose the layout for my home page from already existing layouts in Rubino theme. For example (Classic Home Demo) or (Lookbook Home Demo). Where can I do it?
2. Is it possible to delete or reinstall your theme completely, so I have the clean version of rubino-child-theme?
I tried deactivating and uninstalling pages and media by hand, but it ruined my site completely.
3. Where do I edit the top-header? Somehow WP Bakery refuses to edit this section.
7 years, 10 months ago #14419Hi,
1. Set Home Page: You go to the Setting -> Reading -> Select "Static page" -> Set Homepage.
2. I tried deactivating and uninstalling pages and media by hand, but it ruined my site completely.
You can send me a screenshot to clarify this problem.
If you want to use the Child Theme, you go to rubino-package folder -> Theme File -> unzip the yolo-rubino-child.zip file -> copy and move to wp-content/themes/. Later, you go to the backend -> Appearance -> Themes -> Activate the Child Theme.
3. Edit Top bar: You go to Appearance -> Widget -> Top Bar Right and Top Bar Left -> you can edit it.
Best regards.

I don't have it unfortunately. As I said earlier: I tried using Import Data section, https://i.imgur.com/B4h82ZV.png
to add demo stuff from your theme, but it had a lot of unnecessary pages, and doubled my menu, so I deleted almost every page and every media by hand. Is there any option to uninstall your theme completely and then reinstall it properly?
2. I was using Yolo-Rubino-Child-Theme at the time, I thought there is a way to reinstall it properly, so I can use demo content again, without it ruining my site.
3. Can't edit height of the top bar.

Have you used the Rubino last new version?
I tried translating your theme, but .mo and .po files do not affect your theme. Where do I need to put these files exactly? Can you please specify folder on ftp?
You can try with the plugin "Loco Translate": http://prntscr.com/ia7kps
I used different language for my menu (cyrillic) and the font changed to Times New Roman or something. Changing fonts in typography section does not help, although Oswald font supports cyrillic symbols.
If you use the last new version, you can try to remove cache and check again.
Thanks.

You can do these steps:
- You go to Woocommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Shop Page -> Set Shop page default
- You go to Theme Options -> Shop -> Archive Product -> Sidebar Filter Layout -> Set sidebar left.
- Add the widget for Woocommerce sidebar.
Hope it helps!
7 years, 5 months ago #16524Hi! I would like to resize the image on my main page to match the container width in the header.
I attached screenshot. I want it to match the yellow rectangle.
I tried using full width or other options for the page but it fucks up my top bar, header and products on main page. How do I do it properly?
