Hi Yolo Team,
I have two issues I haven't been able to solve. I know one is lack of knowledge on my part and the other I think is a problem with the theme.
Problem 1:
I want to get rid of two breadcrumbs / menu items from the Shop Page and the Category Pages only, but I can't seem to figure it out. Please see attached image: How do I get rid of these.png
Problem 2:
I haven't been able to get subcategories to work properly. Categories display correctly but subcategories display the products inside the subcategories instead of the subcategories. My problem is that I'm going to have about 400 products inside eight subcategories. I can't have a page with 400 items all mixed together from 8 subcategories. Please see attached file: subcategory issue.png
On problem 2, I can't use this theme with this issue, can you tell me how to make changes to the theme to make it work properly? Alternately, I'll be happy to provide admin access.
Cheers,
Mario A
8 years, 3 months ago #11432Hi.
Thank you for contacting us.
#1. To turn off category filter on the shop page, please go to theme options/ WooCommerce/ Archive Product and disable list options as this https://prnt.sc/gjmrzh
And to turn off product page breadcrumb, please go to theme options/ WooCommerce/ Archive Product/ Breadcrumbs in Archive Product options, and disable this options.
#2. Can you give us your site URL, admin account? We will help you check that issue again.
Thank you.
Jackie.

We have checked your site again.
And the setting still works fine. If your sub categories don't have product, it will show the product of parent category as this
https://motosportfairings.com/product-category/honda/honda-cbr600rr/
Please check it again.
Thank you.

8 years, 3 months ago #11505Hi,
Thank you for your response but unfortunately, the problem still exists as follows:
1. Go to home page: https://motosportfairings.com
2. Click on HONDA
3. You then get the following page: https://motosportfairings.com/product-category/honda
4. Now click on the HONDA CBR600RR (2).
5. This takes you to: https://motosportfairings.com/product-category/honda/honda-cbr600rr, but it doesn't show sub categories, only products. (screen capture attached).
It is important you follow the steps above to get to the page. If you simply copy and paste the link to the page, the categories show up correctly. However, if you follow the steps described above using the menu, you get products instead of categories. Please test this for yourself and you'll see.
My access information has not changed so if you have to go to the backend of the site, you still can.
Cheers,
Mario A

8 years, 3 months ago #11512Hi Jackie,
Thank you!
I just checked the site and the issue is solved. Not sure what you did. If I was doing something incorrectly please let me know so I can avoid it in the future. But now I can start loading products, knowing it will work in a hierarchical manner.
Thanks again for the great support.
