Hi,
I've enabled VC for PRODUCT and YOLO-FOOTER as described in your Rubino documentation - so now I can use it ok when I edit Product-Block and Footer-Block elements.
BUT... I've discovered that even though VC backend editor appears to work, the VC grid-builder elements (eg Post-Masonry-Grid) DO NOT DISPLAY if I add one in the Product-Block or Footer-Block.
Any ideas?

8 years, 5 months ago #9773Hello,
Thanks for your prompt response. Please allow me to clarify...
- Yes, I definitely have the latest version of Rubino.
- The VC grids are working on "normal" pages and posts ok.
- If I copy/paste a working VC grid from a page into one of the Rubino "Product Block" or "Footer Block" it looks ok in backend, but does not display any content on the frontend.
PS: I am using the standard Rubino Child, but I just tried switching to main Rubino theme and see the same result.
PPS: I am referring to Rubino "Product Block" feature which allows us to create different product-page layouts for different products (EG see: "/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product_block").
PPPS: Are you sure you've tested VC grid inside the "Product Block"?
8 years, 5 months ago #9780Hi again,
Thanks for your feedback.
We understood your questions.
When created Footer Block or Product Block, you need to assign them to Product or Footer.
For example, We have used Visual Composer to build Product Block as a test- product-block.
- Please go to Products > Open product which you want to assign, then scroll down you will see Page Options > Single Product Layout > Select Single Product layout: test-product-block as this image: http://imgur.com/a/xYRU8
Check it again, then give us your website's URL and admin account privately via checking Set as private reply checkbox.
We will help you to check.

8 years, 5 months ago #9805Hello,
This is getting frustrating. Maybe I'm just not explaining my problem clearly enough.
My apologies. Let me have another try....
- I use a Visual Composer custom Grid that to show "most popular products". On a normal page, I can insert two VC rows containing a Heading and my custom Grid. When I look at the page it shows both the Heading and the Grid as expected.
- I can use Visual Composer to edit/add Product Blocks too ...but if I add exactly the same 2 rows in the Rubino Product Block (or the Rubino Footer Block), the Heading shows, but my custom Grid simply does not display.
Please try to understand the problem I'm having.
I will install Rubino into a fresh/clean WordPress later today and do more testing to ensure it's not a plugin-conflict. I'd appreciate it if you would test this too. Thanks!

8 years, 5 months ago #9866Hi again, cliveaustin
Our developers have checked this problem and they found that you cannot add Post Grid shortcode to Product Block or Footer Block. This shortcode only displays on the post, page because it needs to have an authorization content to page ID.
And they said, "Footer Block and Product Block don't support to add Post Grid shortcode of Visual Composer".
We are so sorry for any inconvenience and Thanks for your understanding.

8 years, 5 months ago #9890Hi,
The Footer Block and Product block BOTH support adding a Visual Composer "Post Grid" shortcode. The problem is that your theme has compatibility issues that interfere with the functionality of this element.
Perhaps you should try harder to get this feature working properly - or else make it clear to customers that your theme does not support a key component of Visual Builder.
Not happy 🙁
8 years, 5 months ago #9891Hi again,
If it helps at all, the problem presents as a JavaScript error. This is what I'm seeing in the JavaScript console when its failing to display a grid from the Footer block....
