    We have checked and found the P tag on the footer block content. Removing that tag will help you remove the space at the bottom.

    Yes, you can hide that button via theme options/ header/ header ( 1,2,3,4 ) options - depending on your header select, then check header customize navigation options to enable/ disable that info as you want.
