Hello Surfaholic.
I have been checked your portfolio page, and I see it get content from the blog, maybe some your category/ page have an alias with portfolio name. I changed this page to http://www.sitzbock.fabo-design.ch/portefeuille/ and now it works fine.
I also fixed the issue with footer block.
Please check it and let me know again if have the issue.

Yes, I have checked your site and reinstalled this theme but something not work.
I found issue with PHP 5.3. Some function does not work with PHP lower version ( 5.3 ). Can you help me update your PHP to 5.5 or higher?

I have been helped you fixed the issue with the footer, you need to use our footer name "footer default" for your footer to get this CSS.
And with the portfolio, you can choose overlay style just icon, to display lightbox for a portfolio.

I think you should don't use this plugin.
Because this plugin has no update from 3 years ago, have issue with woo commerce 2.6, not been test with WP 4.6
You should check this plugin or choose another method for what you want.
