With your problems:
1, Please rename: "yl_products_layouts.po -> yl_products_layouts-pt_PT.po" and "yl_products_layouts.mo -> yl_products_layouts-pt_PT.mo".
2, You go to "ylp_product.js" (/yolo_products_layouts/assets/js/ylp_products.js) -> Find and edit it.
3, You can add style:
.ylp-product-filters .ylp-search-ajax input{
background-color: #fff!important;
}
