Also, I'm happy if the Cart page remains nearly as is, but the only problem is that the City text box in the calculator section is black, so it's not readable with the black background. If this was white like the other boxes that would be fine.
Please disregard issue about custom css for .wpcf7 and the Gift Card not working (the plugin for this one was deactivated, though not by anyone our end).
Thanks
Thanks for your help. Shipping is now being triggered but there's another issue (please read below)
Unfortunately, the cart page (as well as in the account pages) still appears more like what's in the image I attached, and there are several other elements through the website that appear to be pulling woocommerce default theme settings.
I'm not sure if this and other things below have to do with something cached, but I have deleted and cleared any caching that I could think of (eg cloudflare) and cleared all local caching and cookies etc on browsers.
The other things that aren't right are:
- The cart and account tabs in the header are not the right font
- Cart page overflows on android mobile
- The header is not responding to the size set in the Rubino settings
- Some of the custom CSS only works when it is in the Rubino settings - it's not being picked up at all from just the child theme style.css
- Custom css for .wpcf7 isn't working at all now (this styles the text boxes and options on the 'Set & Forget' page)
- The yolo instagram isn't working - see the 'Set & Forget' page for eg)
- On an iPad, the drop-down options in the full header menu (i.e. when in landscape mode) don't work
- For some reason, the Font Awesome icons are being pulled from a cdn website with an old FA version, and overriding the visual composer ones (https://netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.0.3/css/font-awesome.min.css?ver=4.0.3)
- The Gift Card product isn't working now - this is the one you provided a 'default' product page a couple of months ago
One last really important thing is how the shipping is being triggered and calculated. Removing that code, now means that the shipping is triggered correctly in both cart and checkout, but another problem has arisen. For some reason, when shipping is calculated, it is often not the set price. It sometimes adds 3.33% to the shipping price and other times reduces shipping by about 49%. It differs by browser but isn't consistent either. When I first encountered this I thought it was a localised problem because when I cleared caches and cookies locally it was fixed, but we have just had an order from overseas and they received a reduced shipping fee.
Worked! legend!
Thanks very much 😀
Thanks for your help again. Regarding the clearfix for the checkout page, changing 'overflow: auto;' to 'overflow-y: auto;' didn't do anything unfortunately. I've noticed that there is a height style in
- the height value changes as the size of the browser page changes. If I change the value to 100% in the browser Inspect Element options, this fixes the issue, but I don't know in which file to change the value because it's under element.styleAny idea where I might go for it?
Thanks for your help
Hi again, sorry for the delay. Just very caught up recently.
First regarding the font, I was able to find the culprit - caching in Cloudflare. Sorry about the hassle. I was able to then clear the 'custom-style.css' file and all sorted out.
I've attached a screenshot and small video of the other issue discussed.
Thanks
Thanks tinhbeng
The clearfix worked to an extent but some of the form remained hidden (though accessible) so I added 'overflow: auto'. For non-mobile phone browsers, however, this creates a scroll within the form table rather than fitting all the form in the table. If you know a fix for this that would be great.
Another thing is the drop-down lists for the 'Resident Types' on both the billing and recipient sections. They act very differently depending on the browser. Most of the time they don't fill the width of the form even though they are meant to. Is there a fix for this too?
The last thing is about the menu font and the menu logo. I've deactivated and removed the css caching but this problem has persisted across all browsers. This was a problem that had come up in the last theme update as well.
Thanks again for your help
Hi tinhberg
Thanks for your help in setting up the next product block. I've been able to use it and it works well for the gift cards (I've left that as the default product block and then select an alternative for other non-gift card products).
I however have another problem that has come up with the lats update. It's a problem that seems to come up with every update. The menu block font isn't correct and the logo is also the wrong size. This definitely happens on Firefox and Safari but not Chrome (these are on mac, but last time it happened it also happened on Windows). One additional problem that is new is that on some pages, including the Cart and Checkout, the title background image isn't loading. See attachment for all problems seen together. Changes to the overlay colour for the title image also do not work.
I was also wondering if you had any update on whether the issues with the Multistep Checkout plugin could be addressed?
Thanks again for your help.

Sorry to be a pain. First, I wanted to thank you for yesterday's update which seems to have cleared up most, if not all, of the issues I had raised above. However, a couple of other things have arisen after updating. Biggest issues first and we'd really like these fixed as soon as you can because we hope to launch the website this weekend:
- The menu is not corresponding with the chosen font, and the logo is not being constrained in the menu height - so now the menu space is much larger with a large logo and Times New Roman instead of Raleway (google font).
- On mobile (android - chrome) or when Chrome browser reduced in size the mobile menu doesn't open - neither as Fly Canvas nor Dropdown.
- Similarly, the Cart Fly Canvas Style option doesn't appear to work (even on Firefox), but not as big deal because the Dropdown option works fine.
- On the Dropdown though, on Firefox, I still the cart items going over the canvas when there are multiple items (should get a scroll bar), however the cart and checkout options are still clearly available.
Less important
- On our coming soon page, the Call to Action box wasn't loading. This was being caused by the 'Fade In' option on the call to action settings. Once the fade in was disabled (set animation to none) the box would appear fine. I've tried fade in on other text boxes and it seems to be ok.
- Background image parallex for this page is also not working but works while on Frontend Editor. Not a big deal because all content contained without scrolling. Saying so more to let you know.
The username and password from before (in the private post towards the top) should still work.
Thanks again for your help.
Thanks very much again Jackie
Thanks for your help and for looking to fix those issues Jackie.
Just one thing I'm not sure I undertood properly, where you explained the accessories option. Do you mean that the accessories option is only fully supported for single products, or that only single products should be an accessory? Because currently, the vase that is set as an accessory (as shown in your screenshot) is a single product. The problem is that the product for which it's an accessory (the 'Posy Subscription') is the variable product that needs attributes to be selected, but someone can choose 'Add All To Cart' without selecting the attributes above.
Hope this is clear and thanks again.
Antoine
