Hello,
I performed a theme and plugins update yesterday on the website http://www.emilyhome.it.
Everything worked well for the English version of the site (which is the default version); the Italian home page however shows the following problems:
- The background images are not shown at all. There is no use in changing images or even substituting them with colors. No changes is seen in visualization.
- The footer of the Italian home page is in English. I cannot switch manually on the Italian one on the page option. All the footers of the Italian version of the site are correctly in Italian. I have notices that while the home page shows a manually defined footer, the other pages make use of the default one
Please see the attached image for clarification.
My translation plugin is WPML.
Feel free to access directly the website administration in order to solve the above issues.
I kindly ask you to give high priority to this incident.

The footer problem is solved. I have switched to the default one in the English verison of the site.
I am looking forward to your reply regarding the background images.

We just edit that page, select the background image for that section, and save the page again.
If you still have the issue for another page, you can do that.

I have got again the same problem described above. The Italian home page does not load the images already described as not loading the last time. I selected again the background image for the section that did not show it then updated the page, as you suggested, but nothing changed.
The odd thing is that that launching the Preview of the page, the background image is correctly shown. Please have a look at the differences between the Preview and the published page here:
