Hello,
I'm testing my customers and admin emails after order (with real payment) via booked plugin in celina theme.
I notice that I don't received the customer (and admin) appointment reminder as it's planned.
But I saw on my back office (Booked>EMails) this note(also on screenshot):Please Note: WordPress crons do not run unless someone visits your site. Because of this, some reminders might not get sent out. To prevent this from happening, you would need to setup cron to run from the server level using the following command:
*/5 * * * * wget -q -O - https://the-living-stones.fr/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron
But I don't know how to do this... could you help me please.
Best regards.Attachments:

(see the screenshot).
Please help me fixing this.

To add a cron job to server, you can follow the article below:
https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/how-do-i-add-jobs-to-cron-under-linux-or-unix-oses/
Or you can contact your hosting provider.
Thanks.

Please install the WP SMTP plugin to config the email function on your website.
Then recheck it.
Thanks.
1 year, 1 month ago #27761Hello,
Thanks for your feedback. I just wrote to my hosting provider. I'll let you know if it's ok.
I see that you've sent a 2cd message, do I need to also add this plugin if the cron job works?1 year, 1 month ago #27771Do the email function works fine on your site? Some hosting doesn't provide the email function. So you need to use the 3rd plugin to config the SMTP on your site.
Thanks.
1 year, 1 month ago #27781Hello,
The hosting provider did install the cron job on my website, but it's still not working.Woocommerce's emails are OK, they are sent after ordering.
But Booked's emails are not. It's an issue at least for the "appointment reminder e-mail" which is only generated by booked (for confirmation emails, woocommerce could be enough).Do you know what I can do to fix this?
Because I would rather not add a new "emails plugin" if this one can work...Thanks for your feedback.
1 year, 1 month ago #27794Hi again.
Yes, as I see, the reminder function doesn't work. Please try the solution from Booked to fix the email issues. https://prnt.sc/lkjFn8dNVV25
Maybe the issue is from the email function.
Thanks.
1 year ago #27805ok, it is the one you suggest me earlier!
I'll try and let you know if it's ok!
Thanks.1 year ago #27828Yes, please check it and let us know again if you still have the issue.
Thanks.
1 year ago #27829Hello,
I'm lost... I installed Easy WP SMTP and still not working.
So, woocommerce's emails are still all OKBut for Booked's emails not.
Admins'email are OK (confirmation and reminder sent for admin), but no emails for clients (confirmation or reminder). As I told you, I really need the reminder email to be send... (it's not in spam either)...
I've created tickets with woocommerce and wordpress.org, but any of them have a solution.
I don't know what to do else...1 year ago #27855Hi.
Sorry for the late response.
We need to debug the reminder function.
Please give us the FTP account, we can't use WP File manager to change the source code.
Thanks.

Can you tell me if you've been able to fix it yet (for me to make new test)?
Thanks.
