I have got again the same problem described above. The Italian home page does not load the images already described as not loading the last time. I selected again the background image for the section that did not show it then updated the page, as you suggested, but nothing changed.
The odd thing is that that launching the Preview of the page, the background image is correctly shown. Please have a look at the differences between the Preview and the published page here:

the page actually works fine now. Have you made any intervention other than saving the home page ? It would be odd if the problem simply solved by itself.

The footer problem is solved. I have switched to the default one in the English verison of the site.
I am looking forward to your reply regarding the background images.

thank you for the modification in the footer.
I have noticed anyway that Instagram thumbnails are still not shown in the widget vertical column on the right that is visualized by the last button in the primary menù. An error is returned instead.
Please have a look at the attached image for clarification.
Could you fix this problem as well ?
