From latest version of this theme, you will not need to use FTP or Envato toolkit plugin to get the update theme and plugin.
It will auto get the update message from our server and you just need to click the update button to get it as my screenshot
This is the future, but now, you need to re-install and upload the theme via FTP and remember to update our plugin too.

To change this icon, you can go to file direction below
/wp-content/themes/yolo-motor/woocommerce/cart/mini-cart.php
find widget_shopping_cart_icon div class and file i tag content as the icon you want.
Please check it and let us know again if still have any issue.

Jackie.We always include the latest version of our plugin in theme package from Envato. You can get the package and check it when new update available.
