- Yes, absolutely. You can install both parent theme & child theme. Then you activate child theme to use. If you have Custom Code segments > you can write them on Child Theme. This action will help you to keep the Custom Code segments when the parent theme is updated.
- If you don't have Child Theme, when the latest version of our theme is released. You need to backup all customization files before updating.

I'm sorry, we don't have shortcode as woo featured products. But you can use our product shortcode and you can pick each featured product to display as you want.
With the child theme, you just need upload child theme to your site and activate. It will overwrite the main theme.

We chose again size of product thumbnail on WooCommerce > Settings > Products. You can see this image: http://prnt.sc/d8pm7u
Then regenerate thumbnail for you > this page: http://newschoolstore.com/magazin/ works fine.

But we want to explain carefully for you:
- If you want to change header style for all pages: You can go to Theme Options > Header > Select Header Layout.
+> After that, Go to Theme Options > Header > Header Customize > in this section you can configure Header Custom Navigation/ Header Custom Left and Header Custom Right.
>> your configurations are applied to all pages of your website.
- If you want to change header style for each page( For example your Homepage is used custom header style): You can open your Page > Scroll down you will see Page Options > Turn on Header Customize > Then choose Header Layout
+> After that, you still go to Page Options > Page Header Customize to configure
>> your configuration only applied for one page.
